What a great story - I really think you should look for an agent. That's one children's book I would buy in a minute.

Hey I did it. My first ever Monday Mission. It's kind of corny, but it was fun. It's also on a similar theme to yours.

Oh phooey, my link was wrong. It must have pasted something old in there. It links to an old post...can you delete it and just keep the second one?

I love it, I really do. I wish I had had a book like that!
You rock!

That is brilliant. You must get a publisher! :)

Read it out loud to my husband it was so good.

I second cellobella. This must be published!!! All the mothers out there will thank you...

That book should be published and handed out to all children everywhere -- like a kids' manual for what to do if mommy gets sick! :)

I'd like to place an order for this book, and I'd like it to arrive three hours ago...

What do you mean I missed the shipping deadline?!

On this Monday morning, I had no inspiration... but I had one from my archives that was perfect.

Such a sweet little book you have... It's PRECIOUS!

Oh that is CLASSIC!

I feel for you, I do, but I admit to LOL a little bit.

Fantastic!

Get well soon.

(And I got my act together, or rather Patience got her act together for this today. LOL)

You are a trooper!

This weekend I told my husband, "I don't think I'd know if I were really sick, I'm so tired."

"NO ONE IS SICK!" He said, as if he could make it so with utter conviction.

He'd consider this a horror story.

Isn't that the truth!

That is soo precious - it has to make you feel just a little better, no?

This was absolutely hysterical! I hope you're fully recovered now. I think you should submit this somewhere. Seriously. ;-)

Oh that was just too funny! But oh so true. Do you think this should become required reading for the younger grades?

Very funny! I'm so glad my boys are old enough to leave me alone when I'm sick. Even so, I still get disturbed far more than is optimal, even when their father is home!!

I would SO buy that book.

And I could sell it 10 times at day at the bookstore. I'm not even kidding. Perfect.

You get an A+.

I hope you feel better. I'll put down my drum, now.

Fantastic!

I especially like the "leave mommy alone!" page.

Are you feeling better now? I hope so!!

I think you're book could be a best-seller. I hope you feel better.

And you've once more tempted me to write a Monday Mission. And you may be sorry...

That is perfect! Will you be publishing that book anytime soon? I think all of the mommies out there could use it.

Brilliant!!!! And this from an expert in the field.

Can someone tell me how I blinked and was 5 posts behind in your blog. I am not cut out for the pace of life in the blogosphere. Still, it was great fun getting caught up. I hope you are feeling better.
