I don't think satsuma trees are used to having snow on them...Just before 7am my husband came in and said "Wake up The May Queen and tell her to look out the window. It's snowing!"
Soon after, this was the view out of our front door. MQ stood at the window watching the enormous wet flakes swirling to the ground and declared "This is the best day EVER!"
As soon as we determined that school was, indeed, cancelled, we bundled up and headed out to play.
Again MQ yelled "This is DEFINITELY the best day ever!"
I taught MQ and the neighbors how to roll the snow to make a snowman.
It snowed for about 4 hours before it started to sleet. We went in and out playing and warming up, drying our meager winter clothes in the dryer. Many, many cups of hot chocolate are being consumed.

Ah, that does look cozy. We have about 20 inches of snow outside of our home right now - so I'm a little envious of that fun dusting!
WOW! Actual snow! It's just chilly here, nothing so dramatic. Enjoy it while it lasts. :)

Oh wow!!! Used to love those snow days... now that I live somewhere that there is snow 4-5 months out of the year I don't like 'em as much. LOL

Granted, it didn't turn to snow here until Will was already at school and we didn't think it would last more than a few seconds... hardly not a few hours!

It was so magical! I couldn't stop smiling and laughing spontaneously. Poor little KayTar expects snow every evening now. LOL.
