Name that Maypole
Last night the May Queen and I were reading bedtime stories, when she pointed at this picture and said "Look, a maypole!"

One of the Cat in the Hats?
Possibly from "How the Grinch stole Christmas?"
Anyway, we recognize Seuss.
Baby, Oh The Places You'll Go?
yes, it is Seuss, but no one has gotten the book yet...
WHAT? Not the cat in the hat? I got nothing.
Hmmm...Horton Hears a Who, perhaps?
Horton, to my knowledge, did not view a Maypole.
i was going to guess horton, too.
I have two guesses.
since it's so close to your birthday, perhaps it's "Happy Birthday to You" or maybe it's "If I ran the circus". I don't know-I am guessing.
Hmm....The Lorax?
yes! It is if I ran the circus! Good call, Kaye!
Oh geesh. What is the official title again? Oh The Places You'll Go? Is that it? Something close to that?
*cheesy smile, pat's self on the back*
I just used my "super" powers of reasoning. It looked like someone was performing a trick,
*um .m .m . forhead crinkling as super power is used
tricks are performed in a circus, maybe, maybe it could be, "If I ran the Circus".*
That's how I figured it out. :)
No clue on WHICH Dr. Seuss book, but isn't it just the best feeling in the world when they notice things that we put into their lives?
Late on this one... couldn't remember the title, but I knew it was the circus one.
Loved that book when I was little!
