Wow. Those are gorgeous shots! It is so hard to capture hummingbirds on film. My shots are all blurry. Maybe I need a new camera. ;)

What kind of hummingbirds do you have? We have ruby-throated here, but they are very small and quick, and extreeeeemely hard to capture on film...

The hummingbirds are fantastic. But I think the raccoon is my favorite!
Amazing pictures. I love the second one - with the bird sort of curled in the air.
By the way, you can use plain sugar water - it doesn't need to be red. The flower feeder thingys do the attraction trick.
I never knew there were so many different kinds of hummingbirds!
Raccoons are cute but did you know their poop is really dangerous? Carries some weird somethingorother that can cause paralysis or something you wouldn't consider. I know, I know, he IS terribly cute. I'm just saying, I've got my kids really enjoying their hand washing after a good play in the yard.
