i'm participating in my first carnival - woo-hoo! - hosted by rocksinmydryer. check it out.
I take digital pictures of The May Queen playing with her latest toy, reading her newest book, enjoying her friends at her B-day party, etc. Then I print out the picture on regular paper, and write a brief note underneath it, such as "This "rocks in my dryer" toy is so fun! Thanks for coming to my party!" MQ scribbles her name. People LOVE receiving this, it's so easy, and MQ knows what the note is for.

Great idea! I am so bad at thank you notes!
Oh! You've saved the day. After the time I had in March getting the 5 year old to do her own thank you notes, I was feeling a bit down about having to write them this week for the 2 year old.
Cute idea. One year after Christmas I had my kids use their bodies to spell out the letters in the word "THANKS!" and we took pictures. I got the pictures developed(It was pre-digital days), cut out the letters and pasted them on a clean white sheet of paper. Then I photocopied the thank you notes and scrawled a personalized sentence or two at the bottom of each one.
Fun way to personalize thank yous!
I LOVE this idea for thank you notes! I've started having the kids make birthday, Father's Day cards, etc for family members and they love it. And they would love this for thank you notes!
I just saw that you are a preschool music teacher. I was a preschool teacher in my pre-Mommy life and my husband was a high school band director before he switched over to music ministry.
I've bookmarked your blog so I can stop back!
Blessings~
Cool idea! I may have to steal that one for Christmas. Thank yous are a pain, but necessary.
