Remember how I wrote that at the end of this month we'd be moving into our new home? Nope, still here. The date got pushed back, and now may be pushed back again, and we fear it may be pushed right out of existence. And NOT because of us.
In other news... we're looking to have a foot of snow drop on us in the next few days. The May Queen is beside herself with excitement. I'm making sure we have enough chocolate and wine to last me until I can get to the store again. Priorities, you know.

I see these kinds of things on real estate shows and I've never understood it. Isn't the agreement legally binding on both parties? When we bought our first house, the sellers wanted to push back the date of possession when they had trouble finding a new house to purchase, and we said no, and that was the end of - once the agreement was signed, the seller couldn't change it unless we agreed. (Of course, that didn't prevent them from taking until 7 pm to vacate the house on the day we took possession - even though we got the keys at around noon - but that's another story.)
Yup, we're having that weather - expecting another two days of school to be canceled. Luckily there are some items from Christmas the kids haven't played with yet and we all stocked up at the library yesterday.
Maybe there's some sort of icon you can bury up there to get this process rolling smoothly.
You picked just the winter to move back up north, eh?
sad :( I hope things look up soon.
Fingers crossed about your house.
Ugh. That is Soooo frustrating. Hang in there! And enjoy the snow! :) We're getting the same storm here!
You are wise. I am currently snowed in (though it wasn't as bad as expected), and I am now wishing I'd thought to buy wine and chocolate last night.
Great blog!
You poor thing, I hope things get 'moving' quickly for you. Why must real estate transactions be so exacting and horrible? Wine and chocolate can cure a lot of ills. Stay warm!!

Drat! I hope it gets sorted. Would cross my fingers for you, but I type badly enough as it is.
And, yes, chocolate is one of the first essentials to stock for a snow storm. Of course.
We only got about 8" by the time it got here. Lucked out.
Chocolate and wine? Add some KFC to the mix and I'll be good for days.
Oh my God...this is taking forever.
Maybe the universe is trying to tell you something?
Like these people are deeply profoundly awful and maybe their house is contaminated????
Seriously?? I didn't know, I'm so sorry. :-(
