Cities of the Dead

Before The Big Guy left we took a trip into the city to take some pictures in several cemeteries. We visited some of the not famous ones, and got some fun pictures.
Can you find some things living in these cities of the dead?

All photos taken by me. Except the ones that I'm in. But that would be a cool trick, eh?

Wow! I have definitely not been to a cemetary like that. I have a thing for cemetaries. I think they are so beautiful and peaceful. Thank you for sharing those photos! Very cool! :)

Very dramatic! I've never seen a cemetary like that, either. I love the rusty fence photo, especially.

I can't exactly explain why, but the one with you peeking out from behind the crypt gate really amuses me. I think there's something about your angle that makes it look like you're popping out to play "peek-a-boo." (Which I suppose is appropriate for a crypt. Well, the boo part, at least.) So maybe I can explain why.

Also, I find myself wondering what you are wearing in these photos...

Reminds me of Mexico, only not quite as colorful. And no I never made it to the graveyards there . . . oh well.
The last pic, makes me think you just rose up from your coffin. Eek!

when we visited New Orleans that was one of the things that most fascinated me--the cemetaries. Here in the west everybody is buried below ground.
