I'm not beyond performing a little Catholic Voodoo (as Rima refers to it), even if I am Lutheran. We buried St. Joseph a week ago.
Do you think St. Joseph would approve of the champagne I have chilling in the fridge, waiting for the offer to come?

I certainly think he will approve! It shows that you have faith it will work :-)
I think he'd love the champagne. Be sure to pour a little over him when you dig him up. Maybe I'll buy one when the time comes here; I'd enjoy displaying the statue in our new home.
I gotta say, that did not work for us. BUT, if it had worked we would be living in a different house in a different neighborhood and not our current house which we made into our dream home. It all turned out exactly as it should have. SOOOOoooooo, maybe St. Joseph worked his magic anyway. ;)
