Holiday Pounds
1 - eating out with visiting family
2 - fast food grabbed on the way to performances of A Christmas Carol
3 - eggnog
4 - my mom's homemade candy
5 - more of my mom's homemade candy
6 - Christmas parties
7 - too tired/busy to exercise
And after the holidays? well... then it's King Cakes and Mardi Gras. Someone stop me from all this eating!
This post was brought to you by the number 7, and the letter M (for Monday Missions, of course! Write your own HOLIDAY LIST - whatever kind of holiday list your little brain can think up - and post a link to it below)

I'm fighting it, LOL! I won't go down! I made it through Thanksgiving. I can manage Christmas. Pah, I won't fall to the green and red holiday, victim of fruitcake. LOL
Great list. Very funny. And true.

"Someone stop me from all this eating!"
Please do! I need help.
Heidi :)
I'm getting bigger by the minute...
You know, I should make a list like this...last week both of my "loose" pairs of jeans were a little snug. It's mystifying to me because I live on sweets, so I didn't think I was doing anything differently.
Oh, the eating...it's useless to fight it, so I say enjoy it!
They say, you only gain two pounds per year around the holidays. But two pounds here, and then next year, and next year!! Wow, it does add up.
LOL! The eggnog is what gets me every time. Even the "lowfat" version I bought has 260 calories per cup.
I'm with you on the candy issues. I've heard you're only supposed to make the kind you don't like so you won't be tempted to eat it, but I haven't really found much that I don't like.
I wish I had the holiday season as an excuse! The truth is.. I just like candy! :)
Ah yes, the holiday pounds. Man, I can eat during the holidays.
This was a really fun mission. Thanks!
Heh! I need someone to stop me too...but I love all the holiday goodies sooo much! Maybe I'll feed them to the kids, they're both skinny!
But everything is sooooo good. I'll give it up for Lent? Ha.
I find that when I'm doing my holiday baking, someone has to test it to make sure I'm not poisoning anyone, right? Also, all my healthy meal plans go out the window in December because who knows where you'll be on a given night and we usually wind up grabbing sandwiches for dinner. Fast, easy, and all the yummy bread/carbs.
Oooh! What are King Cakes?
Oh great, now I'm Hungry! :)

Yeah, I finally manged to complete a Monday Mission! One of the few things I've managed to complete lately. lol.
I still have baby weight to lose.
I'm doomed.
I just posted mine.
I didn't want to.
It's embarrassing....
I'm late! But I did it!

The pounds taste good, don't they? And hey, that's what New Year's resolutions are for anyway. ;)
Let's just hope you get the baby in your slice.
I need an hor' dourve intervention myself. HELP!
Ugh--homemade candy! My downfall is my mother's sugarplum cookies.
But don't a few extra pounds help keep you nice and warm, saving money on heating bills? (she says, trying to look on the bright side)
