Operation Beige - the reveal

I have been working for some time on an undercover operation. I will later write more about it, but these pictures will let you know what's been in the works.

AND FINALLY...

THIS...

all original color photos from this tour of my colorful home. All current photos are now Sherwin Williams Biscuit... aka "beige," except the previously polka dot bathroom, which is now simply white. And for the record, I did NOT paint any ceilings beige.

sort of a thankless job.

What I have done so far to get our house ready to sell? Put up a towel bar.

de just cracked me up. I am so scared of all of the painting we'd have to do to sell the house

You are a living HGTV.

Having just come from a season of beigeing my house against my will, I'm hoping that selling your house is completely voluntary and exciting? Yes? No? I hope so, and if not, I hope you're doing okay.

de made me laugh too. Where are you going? I hope you land someplace soon and color can come back to your walls.

You've no idea how sad it makes me to think that one must paint everything a neutral color in order to sell.

The previous owners of my house didn't, and we bought a house with a lime green bathroom and striated navy blue/white walls in the master bedroom.

Good luck - I hope you get a good place to paint as beautifully as you had originally painted this one.

Wow! It's amazing how much work goes into a home when you're trying to get rid of it!

white, beige, white... home buying people are boring... the least expensive part to change in a house is PAINT. try changing walls, windows, doorways.
I learned a long time ago to shop house like this:
walls, window, floor, ceiling, view.
everything else is up to you.
too bad realtors dont pass this along

good luck!

Wow. I didn't see that coming.

Probably because your after pictures look remarkably like my white-walled house.

I am so late in reading this. I'm sorry.
Wow. Such big changes coming your way. Scary and exciting all at the same time.
Good luck selling! I'll keep you in my prayers!

So, where did you end up? I assume it's a new call?
